Where Wolves Rescue
Our Featured Pet...
This month's Featured Pets are Scottie and Westie. these boys were abandonned as pups in tuba City on the Indian reservation and had been living on dirt and bugs for quite a while. They were skinny and wormy fearful and shy. these boys have come a long way to survive. from the person who found and cared for them and located Where Wolves rescue to take them, to the people at the Golden Bone who helped raise money for the drive to get them here, there were so many factors that these boys had to opvercome they are real troopers. Scottie is the out going one , the mopre dominant and the one who will bark at and protect his domain. Westie is the shy quiet and more reclusive type, he doesn't want to go out he wants the security of home. He has to ride in the shopping cart when wwe go to Petsmart! These two boys really need a forever home this summer before it gets too hot. they ride well in the car. Scottie works great on a leash Westie does not. They can go together or be separated. If they go together there is a "2 for 1" deal on the two of them. We realize that they may not have the luxory of finding a home together and they will do well if separated, both are very dog social and will make good comapnions for other dogs also. they are NOT good with cats, or rodents or other things that dogs like to chase. they are livestock herding dogs primarily and so they have a tendency to want to chase things.
Westie is very good with children and LOVES their attention. Scottie is a bit much for small children as he jumps and plays a bit rougher. they are neutered and don't mark territory . they still like to play tug of war and other games that can lead to chewing though! They are growing boys! Scottie and Westie are just a year old now. Please make their lives complete and give these cute boys a forever home! please contact hte rescue at pangaya@msn.com
